We have an exciting opportunity for Explorer or Network members born between 1st August 2002 and 22nd July 2008 to take part in Roverway 2024.
Roverway is a European event for Scouts and Guides aged 16-22, which takes place every 3-6 years. The next Roverway will take place in Norway in summer 2024, and Scouts is organising a contingent of participants and International Service Team (IST).
The event is divided into three parts:
- A semi-independent exploration in Southern Norway
- A jamboree-style main camp experience near Stavanger
- A post-event experience for the UK Contingent
We have been allocated one patrol of 5-8 people, including a Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader.
The turnaround for selection is very quick and expressions of interest should be sent to Jeff Picton (ACC International) by emailing, jeff.picton@nullgmwscouts.org.uk. Please also indicate if you are interested in being the Patrol Leader or Assistant Patrol Leader.
The deadline for expressing interest is Thursday 13th April 2023 and we are hoping to have an event with all those who express interest on Saturday 15th April 2023 at Dunham Park Scout Camp.
