About the Scout Football Competition….

• This event is our Scout 5-a-side Football Competition. This event is chosen by Scouts (Youth Shaped) and is back for 2023 by popular demand.

What you need to know….

• When: Sunday 19th November 2023
• Time: 2pm to 5pm, please arrive by 1.40pm.
• Where: Eccles College, Chatsworth Road, Eccles M30 9FJ 
• Cost: £25.00 per team, which should be paid by Friday 10th November 2022 using the payment details below.
• Team Information: Matches will be 5–a–side, with an unlimited squad, with rolling substitutions so squad can be bigger. A leader must be present at all times.
• Badges Working Towards: Skills and Teamwork Challenge Awards, and Recreation Activity Badge
• Transport and Parking: Young people should be dropped off by their parent/carer. Free parking available on-site.
• Refreshments: Young people should bring their own refreshments. There is no facilities to buy food or drinks on-site.
• Clothing: Suitable clothing for the activity and weather, warm and waterproof clothing for non-playing waiting. FA rules apply and therefore shin pads MUST be worn. Artificial playing surface so appropriate footwear.
• Permission Forms: Section Leaders must arrange their own permission forms, ensuring they are available on the day and disposing of them afterwards. This includes photo permissions. Click the link to download template, http://www.gmwscouts.org.uk/participantinformationform.
• How to Book: Complete the below form and follow the payment instructions. Closing date is Monday 13th November 2023 at 8pm.
• Payment Information: Each group should be make their payment in full to the below account details by Monday 13th November 2023. The cost is £25.00 per team and groups should follow the payment reference instructions below. Failure to make payment in advance of the event could lead to your team not being able to take part.
