Design our 100th Birthday Badge

We are looking for creative young people to help design our badge to celebrate 100 years of Dunham Park Scout Camp on the Stamford Estate. The campsite first opened it’s doors in 1922 on the other side of the park. The badge will be available for our visitors to purchase in our shop throughout our centenary year!

Design Requirements

Maximum of 5 colours (the outside stitching will be purple)

Include the number ‘100’ on the design

Closing date for entries is Sunday 19th December 2022

Completed entries should be emailed to badgecomp@nulldunhampark.org.uk

(scanned copies or photographs of entries will be accepted)

Changes to Guidance

Following the announcement from The Scouts about the latest changes to the restrictions on residential activities, our management team is reviewing our reopening plans. We will share more information on our social media and website in due course.

Campsite Reopening – Amber Readiness Level

Following the change of the readiness level to AMBER (outdoors only), our Campsite Management Team are working closely with other campsites in Greater Manchester West to finalise plans to reopen to day visitors. We will publish more information on our website and social media pages in due course.

We are looking forward to welcoming young people and volunteers to our campsite again soon!

Campsite Closure

In line with the guidance issued by UK Scouts to suspend all face-to-face Scouting activities, the Campsite Management Committee has decided to close the campsite to all visitors until further notice.

If you want to cancel any bookings or transfer the date to next year, please contact us by emailing, bookings@nulldunhampark.org.uk.

Bonnington Bear Visits Dunham Park!

Bonnington Bear from the Association of Scout and Guide Campsites came to visit Dunham Park Scout Camp over the summer. He got stuck in to some of the activities but also helped our service crew with some essential maintainence and repairs.

Our management committee have decided to FREEZE PRICES for camping, accommodation buildings and adventurous activities* for the year commencing on 1st April 2018.

*Adventurous Activities are Archery, Shooting, Kayaking and Raft Building. Other self-led activities including as grass sledging have seen some amendments to their prices.
