This week is National Volunteers’ Week and on behalf of the County Team, I wanted to say a HUGE thank-you for your contribution to Scouting in Greater Manchester West.
At this current time, your enthusiasm and dedication to deliver Skills for Life to young people has been more apparent than ever as you continue to deliver Scouting at Home. You have continued to give young people opportunities to achieve their Top Awards and take part in a whole range of individual and virtual activities.
Over the past year there has been a showcase of amazing activities, adventures and opportunities for young people. The record numbers that booked to attend our Celebration of Excellence Day last year shows that your commitment to delivering a good quality programme has ensured lots of our young achieve their Top Awards. Whether you are a leader, helper, commissioner or trustee, all of your hard work and dedication to Scouting is greatly appreciated by young people and parents across our County.
