2010 Scout and Explorer camping and backwoods competitions

Both of the competitions for the explorers and scouts were held in at Bispham Hall on the last w/e in June. 2nd Davyhulme won the Scout's camping and Explorer's backwoods cooking competitions, 3rd/1st Eccles won the Scout's Backwood competition and 1st Flixton won the Explorer's camping competition. 7 scout team and 5 explorer teams entered. Comment has been passed how smart the competition teams were at Flagbreak on the Sunday and how well behaved all the teams were during the weekend. Some highlights also included the 90+ flag game between all the teams and the G-Bees Jamboree unit and the beating by the 2D explorers of the leaders at cricket. Well done to all the teams for the high standard and excellent behaviour. A special mention must go to 88th Salford who cam third in the Camping competitions a very young team of only 4 scouts. The scout marks can be downloaded here. The explorer marks can be downloaded here.
