The County Camping and Backwoods competitions were held together at the site of the 5^th Urmston in June 2009. This site proved an ideal setting for the two competitions as each of the 7 patrols had their own campsites. Well done to the 2^nd Davyhulme for coming first in the camping competition, to 13^th Leigh who came 2^nd and to 9^th/15^th Leigh who came 3^rd. In the Backwoods competition a very well done to first entrants 3^rd/1^st Eccles who won the competition. For a full breakdown of the points follow this link. This proves that experience in competitions is not everything. Again 13^th Leigh came 2^nd and to 9^th/15^th Leigh came 3^rd in this competition. Like last year the highlight for most of the patrols was the Flag game which was held on the Sunday due to the heavy rain the previous evening which all survived.
