Event Detail

Like previous events this is open to scout, explorer and network teams. The competition is a one day event and those hiking must carry all the equipment as detailed in the Rules document which can be downloaded from here soon. Other details can be downloaded from here when the venue has been fixed and the scoring system can be downloaded from here.


The co-ordinates for the route will be sent 2 weeks before the competition. We will be using a Scout camp venue to be decided upon (and booked) as the hiking base this year; you are welcome to camp over the weekend. If you do want to camp please can you book yourselves into the campsite but say you are part of of the GMW hiking comp. Please refer to the Rules document for further camping information.
