Programme Support

Programme is one of the three pillars of work that make up The Scouts Skills for Life strategy. The aim of the pillar is to ensure we have a fun, enjoyable, high quality programme consistently delivered and supported by simple (digital) tools. Our County Programme Team are here to ensure we are supporting young people and leaders in delivering the Programme and achieving Top Awards!

In addition to Programme, our team also consists of our Communication and Media Team who actively support the Programme and Adult Support teams in ensuring we effectively communicate with our members, other organisations and share our stories to the wider public. The Perception pillar of work as part of the national strategy, Skills for Life is to ensure that Scouting is understood, more visible, trusted, respected and widely seen as playing a key role in society today.
