Friends of Dunham Park Scout Camp – Fundraising

As we approach our 100th birthday, we are continual reviewing the site and its facilities. As part of our development plan, we have set up a Friends of Dunham Park Scout Camp group as a registered Charity (Number 1185766) to raise money to fund improvements across the site. The current Frank Harrop Lodge (indoor accommodation) has been re-roofed and the next phase is to replace all the windows with double glazing, a refurbished kitchen and creating accessible toilet & washing facilities. The latter is part funded by £2000 from Tesco bags for life having come second in the Altrincham blue token scheme. In 2020, we are planning to create a new Adventure Playground for Scouts, to compliment the current equipment for Beavers and Cub ages.

You can support the Friends of Dunham Park Scout Camp by becoming a member and paying £10 a year subscription. We also have a monthly scheme of pledges to pay £2, £5, £10 per month into the charity. We thank those who have contributed so far and welcome further donations. Please consider gift aiding your subscription or donation so that we can claim the extra 25% from the government.
