Cubs have flight night!
I recently visited 3rd Swinton Cubs who had been joined by the
Beavers for the night when the Lancashire Hawks and Owls Roadshow
flew in.
The Cubs and Beavers (and leaders) were able to hold and stroke
some of these magnificent birds of prey. One of the
highlights was when the European Eagle Owl called Jammu flew across
the room and everyone clapped which was the signal for Purdey the
Barn Owl to start to dance on her perch! Everyone had the
most fantastic night.
