Following the announcement this afternoon from the government, all areas of Greater Manchester will move into Tier 4 (Stay at Home) restrictions from 31st December 2020. Therefore all metros in Greater Manchester West will move to the RED readiness level effective tomorrow.
The RED readiness level means no face-to-face Scouting activities may take place until further notice.
I appreciate this news will be frustrating for many of our volunteers and young people, however the approval of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine brings hope that we will be out of these restrictions soon.
We will keep you updated any further changes.
