The GMW Jamboree Unit Selection Event is taking place at Middlewood Scout Camp and the Jamboree Unit Leaders are looking for a team of 4-5 people to run the catering for the whole weekend which would be a great way to get involved in GMW's preparations for the 22nd WSJ.

The team will need to plan, purchase and run the catering for the whole event to a budget from the facilities in the Cunliffe Lodge at Middlewood bringing in any extra equipment you may need.

The Catering Team will need to provide a breakfast, lunch, light afternoon snack and all day teas and coffees for around 35 Leaders involved with running the event and approximately 65 young people on both the Saturday and the Sunday.

You will need to provide the Young People's lunch as raw ingredients which they'll have to cook themselves using typical camp cooking equipment (gas or wood fire). The Leaders meals whilst being served in the Lodge will have to have a degree of flexibilty so that they can be taken out and eaten in out on the campsite whilst the Leaders are running and assessing activties.

If anyone in the GMW Active Support Unit is interested in getting involved with our County's preparations for the 22nd WSJ by catering for this event as a team then please let Matthew Osborne know by the 15th January.
